News: Big updates to our Purchase Orders module!
- Over the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out some exciting new features and enhancements within our Purchase Orders module.
New Features:
- Parts Pending Purchase Module
- We’ve added a new "Parts Pending Purchase" view to the Purchase Orders module.
- When using Order Line statuses in Fixably, out-of-stock items are assigned a “Pending Purchase” status.
- Previously, it could be difficult for logistics users, purchasers and technicians to find exactly what items needed to be ordered.
- The new Parts Pending Purchase view solves that problem by amalgamating all parts that need to be purchased. Users can conveniently create a Purchase Order directly from the pending purchase view.
- Purchase Order Tracking Numbers:
- Added a new feature where Tracking Numbers can be added to Manual Purchase Orders.
- Once your supplier provides the tracking information, users can edit the PO and add as many Tracking Numbers as are required.
- These are then visible in the Purchase Order View.
Updates to Existing Features:
- Fixably Booking App:
- Added a new section to System Settings > Booking App, where you can define a “Good to know” disclaimer.
- This is useful if you have extra information you want customers to be aware of before coming in for their appointment
- Example: data backups, time expectations, costs, etc.
- GSX Integration:
- Added non-serialized product serial number (ZZ802222OWP) that is used in Apple’s AC Adapter Program.
- Fixably API:
- The repeat repair flag is now available in the Orders endpoint.
- GET /orders/orderId
- isRepeatRepair - true/false
- The repeat repair flag is now available in the Orders endpoint.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixably Camera App v1.0.5:
- Fixed an issue when using the app horizontally on iOS devices.
- Cost Estimates:
- Fixed an issue where cost estimate options were not translated to the correct language.
- User Tagging:
- Notes with a User tagged will now default to being an internal note
- This change is to ensure this communication does not appear on custom printouts or in the portal.
- Fixed an issue where, if an order had a tagged note and the technician was changed, the notification incorrectly moved from the tagged user to the new technician.

- GSX Integration:
- Fixed an issue where GSX purchase orders were not updated with substitute parts under some circumstances.
- If in-stock parts were used in a GSX repair, POs were not updated with substitute parts if the Order had already been completed.
- Fixed an issue where Fixably did not set the Order status to Awaiting Parts once it was released from Local Approval.
- Fixed an issue where Battery-only pricing could be synced to an Order line under certain situations.
- Fixed an issue where GSX purchase orders were not updated with substitute parts under some circumstances.
- Fixably Paperless:
- Fixed an issue with signing documents when using an additional printout language.
- Stripe Integration:
- Fixed an issue where confirmed payment notifications were not received when Portal Payments were taken as a deposit.
- Customer Portal:
- Fixed a secondary issue where Orders could be created without the Device Model under specific conditions.
- Macros:
- Fixed an issue when using the "note.create" macro step in an automation where the snippet ID would be visible rather than the text.
- Fixed an issue with the "invoice.create" macro step where the outstanding invoices were incorrectly marked as paid.
