Date of Release - November 5, 2026
Table of Contents
New Features:
- GSX Integration:
- GSX Purchase Invoices:
- A new version of GSX purchase invoices is available.
- Invoicing > GSX Purchase Invoices now lists every billable part on a GSX repair as soon as the repair has it, at the price GSX quoted, before Apple’s invoice arrives.
- Incoming invoices are matched to those parts, and each part’s status shows whether Apple has billed it, for example “Not received” or “Mismatch”.
- Each order shows its Expected Cost, Cost, Revenue and Profit / Loss, with a summary of the month’s totals at the top.
- Documentation: https://kb.fixably.com/en_US/gsx-invoicing-reimbursements/checking-gsx-purchase-invoices
- Part Incentive Program Calculator:
- Parts can now be marked as eligible for Apple’s Part Incentive Program, with their incentive percentage.
- The new “Part incentive program calculator” in GSX Purchase invoices lists every eligible iPhone and iPad part invoiced through GSX, shows the expected credit, and shows whether Apple’s credit memo was received.
- For a missing credit, the calculator opens a prefilled GSX escalation, and the list can be exported in Apple’s escalation format, so Apple’s Excel validation tools are no longer needed.
- The calculator is off by default.
- We will be enabling it for Fixably Enterprise customers in the coming days. News regarding other plans will follow.
- Documentation: https://kb.fixably.com/en_US/gsx-invoicing-reimbursements/using-the-part-incentive-program-calculator
- Repair Notes and Backorders:
- Apple’s repair notes in the GSX repair panel are now easier to read. They show the newest first, with the date each note arrived, one language at a time, and the full message one click away.
- When Apple offers a substitute part for a backordered repair, the Apple Alerts section on the order now shows “Part Substitution Available” with the proposed part.
- The order’s handler is notified when Apple offers a substitute part.
- Escalations:
- New “Create escalation” button on GSX > Escalations opens the same escalation form as an order’s GSX page.
- Linking an order is optional. Link one to give Apple the repair context and attach its files, or leave it empty for a general question such as an account or billing issue.
- The order field only offers orders from locations the user can access. Only users with the GSX escalation create permission see the button.
- GSX Purchase Invoices:
- Fixably API:
- Vendors:
- New /api/v3/vendors endpoint to list, read, create, update and delete vendors.
- Vendors created through it appear under Users > Vendors, and regular customers never appear in the vendor list.
- The list accepts the same paging and search parameters as /api/v3/customers.
- API documentation:
- Vendors:
- Order Lines:
- New setting “Show a pop-up before confirming parts” in System Settings > Stocks, directly under “Enable order line statuses”.
- When it’s on, confirming a part first shows the status each order line will get, whether stock will be reserved, and whether the part is sent to the Samsung service order.
- Nothing changes until the user confirms. The pop-up also works when confirming several lines at once.
- Shelf Placement:
- Storage, shelf area and slot can now be chosen by hand from the order view. A suggested placement is preselected and can be changed.
- A placement can be changed or removed afterwards, and slots that are already taken are not offered.
- New shelf.place macro step places the order on a shelf at any point in a workflow. It targets a chosen storage or shelf area, or falls back to automatic placement when none is set.
Updates to Existing Features:
- Booking App:
- Appointment slots with few places left now show how many spots remain, for example, “1 spot left”.
- Camera App:
- Videos recorded with the phone held sideways are now saved in landscape, on both iPhone and Android phones.
- The gallery now has Select all and Deselect all in its header.
- Annotations placed on a photo can now be selected and changed until the edit is saved.
- Every photo, video and scan now gets a readable file name by default, for example photo_20261015T154012_01.jpg.
- Settings now has a back button at the top left, the same as the gallery. The “Close” button at the bottom is removed, so “Sign out” is the only button there.
- On iPad, the top-left controls now stay clear of the iPadOS window controls when the app is shown in a window.
- Cropped or turned photos now keep their original camera details, such as the date taken and the device model.
- Uploads now show a dialog that counts the files as they reach the order and has a Cancel button. Cancelled files stay in the gallery.
- Custom Fields:
- Single values of an Options custom field can now be disabled. They no longer appear in the dropdown, and orders that already hold the value keep showing it.
- Customer Portal:
- The extras a customer can add to a cost estimate in the portal are now headed Recommended Products and Services, in the customer’s language.
- Employee Accounts:
- The employee change log now opens from a “View change log” link below the edit panel, instead of sitting inside the form. Only admins see the link.
- Fixably API:
- The API documentation now lists the searchable q fields for each endpoint.
- The v3 product API can now read and write the remaining product card fields, including Public name, EAN exchange and EAN warranty, Must return to vendor and the dangerous goods details.
- The v3 product API can now read, add, change and remove a product’s vendor parts, using the same “Edit vendor parts for product” permission as the product card.
- Admins can now be emailed when a webhook fails to deliver an event or an API client request returns an error.
- Webhook log times now show in the tenant’s timezone, the same as the OAuth2 client logs.
- API documentation:
- GSX Integration:
- Escalations:
- Escalations raised directly in GSX now appear in the GSX Escalations list within an hour, alongside the ones created from Fixably.
- An escalation is linked to its order when its GSX repair is on a Fixably order. Escalations with no matching order still appear, with their serial number.
- User Settings:
- The permanent sold-to warning is removed from User Settings > Integrations > GSX. A warning now appears only when you save an Apple ID that another GSX account already uses.
- Escalations:
- Manifests:
- A user can now clear a pending manifest scan left by another user, for example, one who has left the company, so that the manifest line can be scanned again.
- Orders:
- The order view now lists every internal transit the order was sent in. Clicking one opens the transit with all its packages and orders.
- The order list strategy parameter now accepts several repair strategies separated by commas, and excludes one when it’s prefixed with !, for example, strategy=WUMS, MINS or strategy=!SVNR.
- Running a macro step, saving a note or changing an order status is now faster, because Fixably no longer waits to notify colleagues who have the same order open.
- Products:
- “Export all products” now exports the whole catalogue with no 5,000-row limit, runs in the background, and includes every field the product import accepts.
- The product import now runs in the background and shows a preview of what will be added, updated or left unchanged before anything is saved.
- Report Builder:
- Task ID and Task option value are now available as fields in Report Builder.
- Roles and Permissions:
- “Locked to default location and store” and “Can view orders from other locations and stores” are now two separate role settings. A user can be locked in place and still open orders from every location and store.
- The “Edit device” permission now controls setting and changing the device on an order. Roles that have it today see no change.
- Without “Edit reference”, the Customer reference is now read-only in the Order reference macro step too.
- Stocks:
- The In stock, Available, Reserved, Incoming, In transit, Cost and Location columns in the Stock Quantities view can now be sorted.
- Vendor return reasons are now picked from a list set up in System Settings > Stocks, instead of typed by hand. Existing returns keep their typed reason.
- Translations:
- Column descriptions on the Import products form can now be translated and appear in the user’s selected language.
