    News:

    • Advanced Reports Retirement:
      • Report Builder is now the main reporting tool in Fixably. It covers what Advanced Reports did, with a simpler way to build, save and share reports. As a result, we will retire Advanced Reports on December 31, 2026.
      • Please import your old Advanced Report URLs into Report Builder.
      • Please reach out to support@fixably.com if you have any questions.
    • Legacy Theme Retirement:
      • The Fixably Modern theme has been the default for many years, but until now we have also kept the Legacy UI themes running.
      • We will end support and availability for the Legacy UI on December 31, 2026.
      • Please reach out to support@fixably.com if you have any questions.

    Knowledge Base Updates:

    • Added new training videos:
      • Every Fixably training video now sits inside the knowledge base article that covers the same task, near the top under “Prefer to watch?”. That’s 35 articles with videos.

    New Features:

    • Mandatory Workflow Photos:
      • New Workflow images section in System settings > System > General. Each photo type (Check-in, Loaner check-out, Loaner check-in and Check-out) can be set to Enabled and Mandatory. These settings used to sit on the Fixably Camera App page, and now apply whether the Camera App integration is on.
      • A mandatory photo blocks its step until the order has one:
        • Check-in blocks receiving the order.
        • Check-out blocks releasing the device.
        • Loaner check-out and Loaner check-in block checking each loaner out and back in. Each loaner needs its own photo.
      • The checks also apply when these steps run from macros.
      • New “Override mandatory workflow images” permission lets chosen roles continue without the photo, and the override is recorded on the order. It is off for every existing role.
      • The Fixably Camera App now preselects the photo type that fits the order’s stage, and names each loaner by its device instead of the order line number.
      • Workflow photos can also be uploaded from the order’s Manage files. For loaner photos, you choose which loaner the photo is for.
      • Workflow photos show with the device photos in the order view.
      • The API can now attach workflow photo types to an order and link a loaner photo to its loaner.
    • GSX Integration:
      • Consumer Law Claim (CLC) Form:
        • The CLC form is now split into two documents: a customer page, filled in and signed at intake, and a technician page, completed after diagnosis. Both are saved to the order as separate files.
        • New clc.create macro step creates the customer page during intake. The device and customer details are prefilled from the order, and the reported issue is prefilled from the issue note. The reseller name must be filled in before the step can be completed.
        • The customer page can be signed through paperless signature together with the other sign-in documents. It is then attached to the customer’s sign-in email.
        • When an order already has a customer page, the order’s file menu shows “Finalize CLC form” in place of “Create CLC form”. The technician only enters the inspection fee, retailer name, retailer country and diagnosis. The diagnosis is prefilled from the order’s diagnosis note.
        • The technician’s name, GSX Tech ID, signature and date are filled in automatically from the order’s assigned handler.
        • Finalizing combines the customer page and technician page into one finalized CLC document, which is added to the order. The original pages stay on the order unchanged.
        • The customer is emailed the finalized CLC document in their own language, using the new editable “finalized-CLC-form-Order#” email template. The email is recorded as a note on the order.
    • Erply Integration:
      • New Erply button on the Order view for tenants with Erply configured, with two options: Invoice and Show logs.
      • Invoice creates the invoice and exports it to Erply in one step, without leaving the order. It uses the order’s default recipient and the customer’s default invoice type and payment method.
      • Show logs opens the Erply request history for the order, so a failed export can be checked without contacting support. It is controlled by the new “View logs for Erply order” permission.
      • The existing export from Invoicing works as before.
    • Loaners in Fixably API:
      • Loaners added to an order through the API now start as Reserved, the same as when they are added in Fixably. The line can also be linked to the stock the loaner comes from.
      • New loaner-check-out call hands a reserved loaner to the customer. The line changes to Loaned, and a “Loaner checked out” note is added to the order.
      • New loaner-check-in call records the loaner’s return, using its serial number or IMEI and optional issue notes. The line changes to Returned, the issue notes are saved on the loaner product, and a “Loaner checked in” note is added to the order.
      • Both calls run the same checks as the order line buttons:
        • A wrong status is refused with a clear error.
        • A serial or IMEI that doesn’t match the loaner is refused.
        • A required Loaner check-out or Loaner check-in photo must be taken first.
      • Each call needs its own API scope, order_line:loaner_check_out or order_line:loaner_check_in. When the token belongs to a user, that user also needs the matching loaner permission.
    • QuickBooks Online:
      • Large consolidated invoices now export to QuickBooks Online without needing support to split them first.
      • A consolidated invoice that would go over 300 lines in QuickBooks is now split automatically into several QuickBooks invoices of at most 300 lines each. Before, the limit was 700 lines.
      • After a split, you see a notice saying how many QuickBooks invoices were created.
      • Every invoice in the consolidated invoice is exported exactly once, and the totals and tax across the split invoices match the original.
    • DST Integration:
      • New “Default Cost Estimate Message” field in System Settings > Integrations > DST, under Cost estimate defaults.
      • The message is prefilled when you create a cost estimate from the DST menu on an order, and it can still be edited before sending.

    Updates to Existing Features:

    • Booking App
      • Each service location can now create a calendar subscription link. Its appointments can then be followed in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar.
      • New setting “Show customer and device in calendar subscriptions” adds the customer name and device to each event.
      • It is off by default.
    • Camera App:
      • Photos are now taken in 4:3 using the full camera sensor, so they capture more of the device and in more detail. Videos stay 16:9.
      • Landscape photos now work on Android phones. The buttons turn to follow how the phone is held, and photos are saved the right way up, the same as on iPhone.
      • Swiping left or right across the camera preview now switches between video, photo and scanning mode. The new mode’s name shows briefly on screen.
      • The gallery button is now always on the camera screen, even before any photos are taken, so photos from the camera roll can be uploaded straight away.
    • Cost Estimates:
      • Cost estimate rules now work the same way in the order view and in both cost estimate macro steps, so an order can no longer have two open cost estimates.
      • If a cost estimate fails to save, the user now sees why, instead of a success message.
    • Enterprise BI Tools:
      • New BI view bi_purchase_invoice_lines lists every part line on Apple purchase invoices. bi_purchase_invoices now has a currency column.
    • Fixably API:
      • The OAuth2 client scope picker now groups scopes by resource. It adds “All scopes” and “Select all view scopes” shortcuts and a filter box.
      • Order lines in the API now include orderViewVisibility, which shows whether a line is visible on the order to everyone, to managers only, or to nobody.
    • GSX Integration:
      • Devices and Repairs:
        • The “Refresh device information” button is now on the device card when it is opened outside an order, for example from the main search.
        • The service notification number is now saved for every Apple repair once Apple issues it, without the order being opened. Existing repairs are filled in once.
      • Escalations:
        • The Order view now lists the order’s GSX escalations with their number and status. Clicking one opens the escalation panel, where you can read Apple’s replies and attachments and send a new message.
        • New Refresh button on GSX > Escalations loads the latest status from GSX without waiting for the hourly update.
        • Existing escalations now load their status, type and service level automatically, without being opened. Open escalations are kept up to date, so ones Apple closes move to the Completed tab on their own.
        • Escalation attachments are now picked from a compact multi-select list, the same as the GSX repair form.
        • The page size selector now sits on the same line as the filters. User Settings:
        • New per-role permissions control which GSX user settings users can change: Apple ID, Tech ID, Show Tech ID on printouts, Activation Token, Populate repair details, Reference used in repairs and GSX API version. All are on for existing roles.
    • Invoicing:
      • Consolidated invoices exported to QuickBooks Online are now split automatically into invoices of at most 300 lines, so large invoices export without needing support.
    • Macros:
      • Macros can now be set to prevent skipping steps. When this is on, the Skip button is hidden and only completed or earlier steps can be opened from the step list. Contact support to turn it on for a macro.
      • The warranty.status macro step can now hide IMEI, Warranty, FMiP Status, Repair Mode, Country of purchase and Distributor, each one separately.
    • Report Builder:
      • Report Builder V2 reports can now be emailed automatically on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule, as Excel or CSV, to Fixably users or email addresses. This needs the new “Schedule report delivery” permission.
      • Column names in Report Builder can now be translated and appear in the user’s selected language.
    • Stock and Purchase Orders:
      • New stock setting “Show location for products with no stock”. It shows a product’s saved location in the Products list even when the selected stock holds 0 units.
      • New “Reserve stock for order line” permission. Users without it add stock parts as Draft and cannot reserve stock. All existing roles have it on by default.
      • The product search on purchase order forms now also finds products by their tags.
      • Incoming goods can now be found by Order ID or reference when the purchase order lines were linked to order lines at creation.
    • Translations:
      • Settings pages can now be translated and appear in the user’s selected language.
      • Integration module screens can now be translated and appear in the user’s selected language.
      • Admin pages (API clients, cash registers, payment types, discounts, user groups) can now be translated and appear in the user’s selected language.
    • User Settings:
      • New setting “Clear universal search bar after each search” under User Settings > General. It is on by default for all users.
      • Changes made to another user’s settings through the user picker now always save to that user, including reordering order lists.

    • Booking App:
      • Fixed an issue where the booking app showed some device names in capitals (for example, “APPLE WATCH”) and a wrench icon for Apple Watch.
      • Fixed an issue where orders created from the booking app were not placed in a queue based on their device.
      • Fixed an issue where the location map in the booking app kept jumping back to the selected location after the user moved it.

      • Fixed an issue where a deleted service type stopped its name from being used again.
    • Camera App:
      • Fixed an issue where Camera App photos stretched down the order page instead of showing as thumbnails.
      • Fixed an issue where the Camera App showed “requested resource not found” when scanning an order the user has no access to.
      • Fixed an issue where signing out of the Camera App let the next person sign back in to the same account without a password.
      • Fixed an issue where opening an order link during an upload sent the remaining photos to the new order.
      • Fixed an issue where pressing a volume button to take a photo also changed the device volume, or on Android changed the volume without taking a photo.
      • Fixed an issue where tap to focus could focus on a different spot from where the user tapped.
      • Fixed an issue where the editor’s “…” menu closed as soon as it opened on iPad.
      • Fixed an issue where the camera could switch back on behind the gallery, QR scanner or settings when returning to the app.
      • Fixed an issue where the Android Camera App called its biometric sign-in setting “FaceID”. It now mentions fingerprint or face unlock.
      • Fixed an issue where the shutter button sat too close to the bottom bar.
      • Fixed an issue where 32-bit Android phones would not be offered the latest Camera App update.
    • Cost Estimates:
      • Fixed an issue where changing the recipient while replacing a cost estimate had no effect.
      • Fixed an issue where resending a cost estimate link showed a success message even when no email was sent.
    • Customer Accounts:
      • Fixed an issue where a company customer with an email domain could not be saved on the customer card.
    • Customer Portal:
      • Fixed an issue where the Customer Portal showed HTML code instead of the shop name, tab counts and button icons.

      • Fixed an issue where the email subject was empty when sending from an order with a default order-view template.
      • Fixed an issue where some incoming customer emails were saved with a rewritten forwarding address instead of the sender’s real address.
    • Employee Accounts:

    • Fixably API:
      • Fixed an issue where the order notes API returned deleted and internal notes in full.
      • Fixed an issue where filtering order lines by visibility in the API could return lines hidden from everyone.
      • Fixed an issue where creating an employee through the API sent the “Your account information” email twice.
      • Fixed an issue where order line deletion webhooks from a declined cost estimate arrived about 15 minutes late.
    • General:
      • Fixed an issue where order timeline times could be off by an hour after a daylight saving change.
      • Fixed an issue where disabled options in dropdowns and lists were hard to read in the Modern dark theme.
      • Fixed an issue where printing labels with QZ Tray showed no message for about two minutes when QZ Tray was not open.
    • GSPN Integration:
      • Fixed an issue where Samsung rejected the daily stock report because of an overly long part price, which stopped OFS return proposals.
      • Fixed an issue where “Clear old warranty data” could delete a customer still used as the insurance company on open orders.
      • Fixed an issue where GSPN parts that had been removed, re-added or set to “do not report” were added back and confirmed automatically.
    • GSX Appointment Scheduler:
      • Fixed an issue where GSX refused an Appointment Manager booking with “Input validation failed” when the customer phone was missing or too short.
    • GSX Integration:
      • Consumer Law Claim (CLC) Form: Fixed an issue where the X marks on a generated CLC form could print beside the checkboxes instead of inside them.
      • Devices and Repairs: Fixed an issue where the GSX device card kept showing an outdated “days remaining” warranty count. Fixed an issue where purchase order lines were not updated when Apple changed the parts on a GSX repair after it was closed.
      • Escalations: Fixed an issue where the Created and Updated dates on GSX > Escalations ignored the user’s language.
      • Parts and Returns: Fixed an issue where the KGB tracking link on the GSX repair panel showed no tracking information for DHL Express parts. Fixed an issue where scanning a part into “Add Part to Return” saved the bulk return and closed the panel.
    • Invoicing and Payments:
      • Fixed an issue where identical online payment callbacks arriving at the same time could record the same payment more than once.
      • Fixed an issue where an order line could, in rare cases, be invoiced twice.

      • Fixed an issue where the shipment API accepted insurance for carriers that do not apply it.
      • Fixed an issue where users could change internal transit package statuses without permission, and location-locked users could see transits outside their locations.
    • Signature App:
      • Fixed an issue where store accounts could not add photos to an order in the Signature App’s Picture Mode.
      • Fixed an issue where a signature request that failed during signing could not be cancelled, leaving the tablet stuck.
      • Fixed an issue where order actions taken at signing were credited to the Signature App user instead of the employee who requested the signature.
    • Stocks:
