Date of Release - October 15 2026
Table of Contents
New Features:
- Cost Estimates:
- Customers who are invoiced later, for example, on payment terms or monthly invoices, can now enter a reference value, such as a purchase order number, when they accept a cost estimate in the portal.
- To turn this on, open the customer card and go to Advanced Settings. The new “Display Customer Reference when Cost Estimate is accepted in portal” checkbox appears when Bypass Payment Integration is set to Yes.
- The value the customer enters is saved to the order’s Customer Reference field.
- If the order already has a Customer Reference, the customer sees it in the portal and can edit it.
Updates to Existing Features:
- GSX Integration:
- On the device panel and in the warranty.status macro step, Repair Mode “No” now shows in red, so it stands out as much as “Yes”, which is still green.
- “Not available” looks the same as before.
- Booking App:
- Time Formatting:
- On the location step of the booking app, the first available time on each location card now uses the same clock as the rest of the booking app.
- For example, a provider with an en_US locale now shows “Available Friday, October 2, 9:20 AM”.
- Tenants with a 24-hour region, such as fi_FI or en_GB, still see “09:20”. The time on the card now matches the first slot shown after the customer selects that location.
- Appointment Messages:
- Appointment times in emails, SMS, and WhatsApp messages now use the 12-hour clock for providers in a 12-hour region, such as en_US, for example “10/5/26 9:20 AM”. The {today} variable also follows your tenant’s region now.
- Other regions keep their current date format. In email templates, appointment times no longer show seconds, for example “2026-10-05 09:20”.
- Device Icons:
- On the “Choose a device type” step, HomePod, iPod, Keyboard, Mac Studio and Pencil are now written in normal case instead of all capitals.
- Mac Studio now shows the same icon as Mac Mini, and Keyboard and Pencil have their own icons instead of a wrench.
- Time Formatting:
- GSX Appointment Scheduler:
- The Availability Manager calendar now marks the last day that capacity has been sent to Apple GSX. Days after that point are shown differently, so availability you set up further ahead isn’t mistaken for availability that is already live in GSX.
- The marker explains that GSX receives capacity 10 days ahead and that the window moves forward one day every night, with nothing you need to do.
- Closures inside the window still show as closures. Accounts without the GSX Appointment Scheduler see no change.
- Inventory Counts:
- When you scan or enter a part code in Inventory count, the list now shows only stock lines with a quantity above 0.
- For serialized parts, units that were used up long ago no longer fill the list, so you only count the units Fixably expects to be on the shelf.
- Custom Fields:
- When you create or edit a Yes/No or Options custom field, you can now choose a “Default value”, and that value is pre-selected on every new record.
- Fields set to “No default value”, along with all existing fields and records, work the same as before.
- Order Statuses:
- Status Display Ordering:
- When you create or edit an order status, you can now set a “Display order (ordinal)”, the same field queues already have. Statuses are then listed in that order in the queue’s status settings and in the status picker on an order.
- The status picker keeps its grouping by status type and sorts the statuses within each group. Statuses without a display order come last, so on existing sites the order stays the same until you set one.
- Improved Status Type Descriptions:
- When you create or edit an order status and choose a Type, a short description of what that type does now appears below the field, in your language.
- Types that only apply to an integration, such as GSX or DST, are now listed in a separate group that names the integration they need. You can still choose them, and statuses that already use them keep working.
- Status Display Ordering:
- Incoming Manifests:
- When you create a new incoming manifest, Yes/No and dropdown custom fields now start on their default answer. Before, they could show the first option, such as “Yes”, and save it without anyone choosing it.
- Fields that have a “Please choose” option and no default still start on “Please choose”. Existing manifests keep the answers that were saved.
- Outgoing Manifests:
- When an order is on an outgoing manifest, the order view now shows that manifest’s number and reference, in the same place and format as the incoming manifest details.
- Orders on both an incoming and an outgoing manifest show both sets of details, clearly labelled. Orders without an outgoing manifest look the same as before.
- Translations:
- The page title in the top left and the buttons in the top right of each screen, including the options in their menus, now appear in your selected language instead of always in English.
- Multi-select dropdowns (such as “Select All” and “Nothing selected”), results tables (such as “Show 50 entries”, the search box and the Copy and Print buttons) and the date range picker (Apply, Cancel, Custom Range, and month and day names) are now translated on every page that uses them.
- The Purchase orders, Credit requests, Parts pending purchase, Receipts and Invoicing pages are now fully translated, including column headers such as “Purchase price ex. VAT” and “To pay”, filters, and the confirmation messages shown before exports and deletes.
- More common labels used across Fixably, such as Location, Serial number, Description, Warranty, Stock and Created at, now appear in your selected language.
- Labels that existed twice with different capitalization, such as “IMEI” and “Imei”, now share one translation. In English, these take the shared capitalization; for example, “Imei” now reads “IMEI”.
- Roles & Permissions:
- A new “Remove device” permission under ACL > Orders lets users remove a wrongly added device from an order without the “Edit device” permission, so they still can’t change the device itself.
- Roles that have “Edit device” can still remove devices as before. For users with neither permission, the “Remove from order” options are now hidden instead of failing when clicked.
- User Settings:
- New employee accounts now start with their own default service location selected under “Select locations visible on Dashboard”, so the “In queues” panel shows only that location instead of every location in the company.
- The employee or an admin can still add or remove locations later. Existing accounts and new accounts without a default service location work the same as before.
Bug Fixes:
- GSX Integration:
- Parts Pending Return:
- Fixed an issue where GSX Parts Pending Return kept listing parts whose return was already completed in GSX, especially parts from older, closed repairs.
- Fixably now checks these older pending parts with GSX automatically and removes completed returns from the list.
- Editing Devices:
- Fixed an issue where, when editing a device, the checkbox that stops GSX from overwriting the device name sat after its label. It now comes first, styled like the other checkboxes in Fixably.
- The label now reads “Fixed name (don’t update from GSX)” instead of “Fixed description”, so it matches the “Name” field it protects.
- Consumer Law:
- Fixed an issue where the consumer law options were missing from the carry-in and whole-unit mail-in repair forms until the device was refreshed.
- The forms now get fresh device details from Apple each time they open, so the options appear right after diagnostics are run.
- Attachments:
- Fixed an issue where files ticked under Attachment(s) when creating a GSX repair were each sent to Apple twice in the uploaded zip.
- Each ticked file is now included once, so uploads to Apple are no longer twice the size they need to be.
- GSX Questions:
- Fixed an issue where questions on the Questions tab of a GSX repair showed raw HTML tags, such as "br" and "a href=...", instead of formatted text.
- Non-Serialized Devices:
- Fixed an issue where Apple’s non-serialized device couldn’t be added to an order from “Add device” when “Show device history by default” was turned on and the device was already on other open orders.
- Parts Pending Return:
- Booking App:
- Fixed an issue where the “Your booking is confirmed!” page in the booking app left out the second line of the location’s address, such as a suite number.
- The confirmation page now shows the full location address, including Address 2.
- Search Bar:
- Device Custom Fields:
- Fixed an issue where clicking a serial number in device custom field search results, such as "device-typenumber:SM5/10-TC1", showed no orders when “Show device history by default” was turned on.
- The panel now lists the orders linked to that device again.
- Device Custom Fields:
- Loaners:
- Fixed an issue where the notes added to an order when a loaner is checked out or checked in were always in English, including on the customer-facing loaner printout.
- The notes are now written in the language of the user who checked the loaner out or in. Loaner notes created before this change stay as they were.
- Reorder Suggestions:
- Fixed an issue where Reorder suggestions listed parts for every stock, even stocks that don’t carry them. A part is now suggested only for stocks that carry it or that have their own minimum set for it.
- Repair Stickers:
- Fixed an issue where editing and saving an existing repair sticker reset “Apply a top margin to the rendered text” and “Apply a bottom margin to the rendered barcode” to 0.
- Your saved margins are now kept each time you save the sticker, in System Settings > Printouts or in Profiles.
- Erply Integration:
- Fixed an issue where negative invoice lines, such as an insurance deduction or a credit, were left out when an invoice was exported to Erply, so Erply showed a higher total than Fixably.
- Negative lines are now included in the export, and the invoice total in Erply matches Fixably. Lines with a zero price are still left out, as before.
- Fixed an issue where every order page could fail with “Service Unavailable” if one of the account’s encrypted integration settings, such as the Erply password, couldn’t be read.
- Stock Transfers:
- Fixed an issue where parts received through a stock transfer couldn’t be dispatched to an order and showed a not-enough-stock error if the product was already listed in the receiving stock with 0 quantity.
- Received units are now added to the product’s existing entry in that stock, and parts affected before this fix can be dispatched without a manual stock count.
- Moneris Integration:
- Fixed an issue where a successful Moneris card payment could leave the order with no invoice or payment recorded, even though the customer’s card was charged.
- If the database is briefly busy while a Moneris payment is being completed, Fixably now tries again instead of losing the invoice and payment.
- GSPN Integration:
- Fixed an issue where Samsung devices showed their configuration code, such as “FCD,SENA,NO,9”, as the device description instead of the product name.
- The description now comes from the GSPN service order with the model in brackets, for example “Washing Dryer (DV90T5240AX/S4)”. Existing devices affected by this are corrected at their next repair sync while the service order is open.
- Fixed an issue where the service location filter on the GSPN In Home Order appointment management page only offered “All”, so you couldn’t pick a location.
- Fixed an issue where confirming parts on a Samsung in-home GSPN order always opened the “parts available” message when stock part requests were on, even if a part was out of stock and still on order.
- Now, if any confirmed part isn’t available from stock, the message opens with the “parts pending” template instead.
- Fixed an issue where the SMS or email pop-up for confirmed parts on a Samsung in-home GSPN order only appeared after you refreshed the page.
- The pop-up now opens straight after you confirm the parts.
- Fixed an issue where users locked to their own service location could see open orders from every location on the GSPN In Home Order appointment management page.
- These users now only see orders from the locations they’re assigned to, regardless of what the service location filter or page address says.
- Fixed an issue where Samsung devices showed their configuration code, such as “FCD,SENA,NO,9”, as the device description instead of the product name.
- DST Integration:
- Fixed an issue where choosing “Send Estimate...” from the DST menu on a DST order showed “DST integration is not available” unless “Enable DST order action menu for non-DST orders” was turned on.
- Security:
- Fixed an issue where text saved in device details, such as the model description or serial number, could run as script in the warranty.status macro step and on other screens. It’s now always shown as plain text.
- Order Status Page:
- Fixed an issue where the “Create” step on the public status page showed the time in UTC instead of your local time for orders created through the API, so it didn’t match the “Receive” step.
- Order Lines:
- Fixed an issue where marking parts as Ready for collection could show an error and skip the rest of the selected parts when the same part was updated twice at the same moment, for example by a double-click or by two users on one order.
- Every selected part now moves to Ready for collection without an error.
